The Ferry is a family friendly, premium pub, bar, and restaurant that’s perfectly equipped to accommodate all of your requirements.
With an extensive range of menus that have been designed to satisfy all appetites and tastes, our delicious selection of dishes features an array of tasty starters and light bites, as well as appetising mains, sharing platters, and tempting desserts.

Located in the historic village of Cookham, The Ferry is well-connected and easily accessible.
The Ferry is easily accessible by road. The village sits on the A4094 between Maidenhead and Bourne End, whilst the A404 from Maidenhead to High Wycombe is just to the west of Cookham Dean. For those travelling by bus, there is an hourly service to Maidenhead, Bourne End, and High Wycombe.
If you’re travelling by train, Cookham station sits on the Marlow to Maidenhead branch line. There are two direct trains to and from London Paddington, the rest of the services go direct to Maidenhead.

Situated in Cookham, on the River Thames, The Ferry is surrounded by exciting things to do, see, and explore. So why not make a day of it and pop in to see us before setting off on your day of adventure, or call in to refresh and refuel after your action-packed day.
The National Trust site of Cliveden is close by, with its glorious gardens overlooking the River Thames. Here you’ll find plenty of family friendly activities amongst the beautiful grounds, including a giant yew tree maze, a storybook play den, gardens, and woodlands. Once you’ve worked up a healthy appetite, pop into The Ferry to enjoy great food for all the family.
Other nearby attractions include Windsor Castle, St George’s Chapel, Bekonscot Model Village, the John Lewis Heritage Centre, and Odds Farm Park.
3.5 miles north of Maidenhead, The Ferry is also perfectly placed to act as a base if you’re exploring the area’s many attractions such as Boulter’s Lock and Ray Mill Island, the Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead Heritage Centre, and so much more.
